Hi,

I have a few problems that I hoping to get some help with please.

I'm trying to change the ball color (I'm on PC/Steam) in career mode because I find it to difficult to see and I don't really want to make the ball bigger become it looks to unrealistic. I've changed the hex codes for BallColor and BallColorBlur in Tennis.ini and in the ini file in the Profiles directory but the ball won't charge color? I don't know what I am doing wrong?

The second problem is shot consistency and precision. I'm starting a career on Junior and I have everything maxed at the allowed level of 20% and I can't get a consistent performance of shots. Even when I am perfectly in the corners of the danger zone (or just out of it) the ball will go wide? I'm not using aiming either.

I constantly do double faults when I am down x / 40 and give away the game even though I am serving exactly the same every serve?

Would anyone know how I can fix these problems? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

1) As explained here topic19-32161.php , if you have the XKT Mod, change XKT.ini .

2) If the ball goes too much on the left or right, it's not a consistency issue but an aiming issue ; turn on the Aiming Preview to learn how it all works.

1) Followed that, enabled Dev mode in the ini files, game started with info in top left corner, ball color still won't change?
1.1) I'm not using mods, although Steam starts with 2 choices; * Play Tennis Elbow 4 or * No mods (I always choose Play Tennis Elbow 4
1.2) Do I need to use a mod to change the ball color?

2) I will re-enable the aim

3) I am using the safety serve and that's why I was asking?

1) You don't need to activate the DevMode ; please re-read what I wrote

3) So I guess you're missing left/right, is that correct ? In that case, it's your aiming the culprit : aim farther from the lines and you should be fine ; you can activate the Service Aiming Preview in your Character Sheet if you need some help about that.

You're right I missed the "for example" in the instructions, sorry about that.

So I have changed the hex value for BallColor and BallColorBlur in every possible ini file I can find under "AppData\LocalLow\Mana Games\Tennis Elbow 4" and I still can't get the ball to change color?

You do it with the game closed and then you save & launch the game, right ?

Try using the "Settings -> Misc -> Hidden settings" way, so you're sure it's changing the correct .ini .

That's the crazy thing, when I do that it shows the value that I had previously saved after editing the ini files (and shown below):

FF0808 should be red but as you can see in the below video the ball is still yellowish?

This looks correct for BallColor, but you'd need to change BallColorBlur, as the ball is visibly motion-blurred in your screenshot.

0xFFFF0808 is bright red in ARGB format, maybe the game is using RGBA format. Try this value and see if the ball becomes red now : 0xFF0000FF

I checked and actually it doesn't work with the motion blur !
It'll be fixed in the next update, thanks to your report.

Unfortunately the update didn't fix the issue, I still can't change the ball color to any color and I have tried a lot.

I got it to work, I had to set it is default and then put the codes in again.

I changed the codes under Ball and Display.
